Jackrat is a folk punk band from Bend, Oregon, known for their melancholic, fast-paced, energetic songs and engaging live performances. Active in the Central Oregon music scene, they have played venues, festivals, and DIY shows across the Pacific Northwest, from theaters and pubs to basements and backyard stages. They have shared the stage with nationally touring acts such as Hillstomp, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Beyond the Lamplight, and Larry and His Flask. Formed at the local dive bar, M&J Tavern in 2022, they quickly rose to be the prominent indie rock band in the Central Oregon music scene.Their upcoming full-length album, Whatever It Is You’re Running From, pushes their sound beyond the desolate shrubfields of Bend to resonate with listeners everywhere.
